In this paper, using activated sludge biological wastewater treatment process is amultivariable coupling system affecting factors, the strong association between thevariable and complex mechanism, research model and decoupling method to obtainsatisfactory control quality essential way. The mathematical model commonly used inthe activated sludge biological wastewater treatment. Sewage treatment system is atypical large inertia and strong coupling, large delay, nonlinear complex systems. Dueto the complexity of the system of the wastewater treatment, the conventional meansof control is difficult to achieve the desired control effect. To solve the aboveproblems, the need for a sewage treatment system with intelligent control programand the overall control scheme to achieve the emission standards in line with nationalrequirements.Firstly, according to the typical process of the wastewater biological treatmentbaseline simulation model on the No1, Matlab/Simulink toolbox to build a sewagetreatment system simulation platform. In this platform, for the different excitationsignal response data, can also facilitate the simulation of various control strategies.The data control and mechanism analysis proved that the results of the simulationplatform given is correct.Secondly, the selected operating variables and controlled variables respectivelyfrom the system’s theoretical analysis, mathematical analysis and control structurecoupling analysis, a theoretical basis for the design of intelligent decoupling controllerpad angle also proved serious associated coupling exists between the sewagetreatment process variables. Impact coupled to the control system to reduce variables,according to the characteristics of the wastewater treatment system, the paperproposes decoupling control of the concentration of ammonia nitrogen, nitrateconcentration, the program so that the sewage treatment system and stable operation,to meet performance indicators requirements. Proposed conventional PID decouplingcontrol scheme, the single neuron adaptive PID decoupling control and dynamicmatrix algorithms single neuron adaptive PID decoupling control scheme. Three casesof the above three methods, through MATLAB simulation tool, respectively, from theammonia concentration setting change, nitrate concentration setting changes,disturbed simulation contrast to the dynamic matrix of single neural network controlimprove the robustness of the control system has to play the role of furtherdecoupling.This paper focuses on the discussion of research decoupling control of theconcentration of ammonia nitrogen and nitrate. Intended to eliminate the impact ofsewage treatment system coupling, the stable operation of the whole system in the best condition to obtain good economic and social benefits.
