| Coherent jet oxygen lance as a new type of oxygen, is first used in electric furnace,generally take a bath, uniformly distributed in the furnace wall. Compared with traditionaloxygen lance, the main oxygen tube surrounding with high temperature and low densityjet have smaller entrainment impact. So the core zone of supersonic jet is very long, it canmaintain polymerization in longer distance. Therefore, the strong penetration capability iseffective on promoting the steel slag reaction, informing molten steel composition andtemperature, decreasing splash, improving oxygen utilization rate as well as the rate ofmeta. Coherent jet oxygen lance with its better flow length, concentration, power andimpact force characteristics can be used at a higher position of a converter, and it canreplace the traditional top bottom combined converter under a suitable lance height design.Based on the coherent jet oxygen lance top blowing converter model for numericalcalculation, the oxygen lance jet flow characteristics on the axis, under differentconditions of the molten pool during fluid flow characteristics and impact depth arestudied, as a coherent jet oxygen lance for converter on the feasibility of providingreference.Coherent jet oxygen lance top-blown converter model and single span oxygen lancetop-blown converter model was established respectively using Gambit, and suitablemathematical model was selected based on two-phase flow theory, and calculation resultsobtained from Fluid Flow simulation software of Fluent was disposed using Tecplot360visualization analysis software. Jet axis on the flow characteristic of with flow or not,different environmental temperature and different gun position, flow conditions of moltensteel in bath, impact depth and velocity distribution of Center axis liquid area in bath wereanalyzed and studied. The results show:compared with traditional oxygen lance,Jetattenuation slows in Coherent jet oxygen lance axis,impact depth was deeper,andvelocity of Center axis liquid area in bath was larger,and liquid steel flow in the pool wasbetter。... |
