Over the years, more and more attentions have been devoted to the syntheses and characterizations of metal-organic coordination polymers due to their diversity and potential applications, as well as their fascinating framework structures. It’s worth mentioning that the N-containing carboxylic ligands have strong coordination ability to furnish various complexes which show a great variety of architectures and potential functions. Thiabendazole contains an imidazole ring and a thiazole ring, which can be used as a functional ligand. But so far, it has been reported that rarely complexes have been synthesized by thiabendazole. So thiabendazole’s coordination chemistry to metal ions remains largely unexplored.Twenty coordination compounds have been synthesized and characterized by infrared spectra, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. And complexes are rich in hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions, which play very important roles in the construction of supramolecular architectures. What’ more, hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions can be used to connect complexes to become a one-dimensional, two-dimensional, or three-dimensional crystal structure. Twenty coordination compounds are listed as follows:[Co(BDC)(TBZ)](1),[Cd2(BDC)2(TBZ)2(H2O)2]·2(H2O)(2),[Mn2(BDC)(TBZ)4(SO4)](3),[Co(BDC)(TBZ)2](4),[Mn(BDC)(TBZ)](5),[Cd2(IP)2(TBZ)2(H2O)2]·(H2O)(6),[Zn4(IP)4(TBZ)4]·2(H2O)(7),[Cd(IP)(TBZ)]·(H2O)(8),[Cd2(IP)2(TBZ)2(H2O)2]·(H2O)(9),[Co2(PDA)2(H2O)(TBZ)2](10),[Co(HBTC)(TBZ)(H2O)](11),[Zn2(BTC)(TBZ)2(CO2H)](12),[Co(PDC)(TBZ)](13),[Cd(PDC)(TBZ)](14),[Pb2(DPA)2(TBZ)2](15),[Co(DPA)(TBZ)2](16),[Cd(CDA)(TBZ)](17),[Co(TBZ)2Cl2]·C2H6O (18),[Mn(TBZ)2SO4]·H2O (19),[Zn(TBZ)3Cl](20)(TBZ=thiabendazole, BDC=terephthalic acid, IP=1,3-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, PDA=Phenylenediacetic acid, BTC=Benzenetricarboxylic acid, PDC=1,4-Phenylenediacetic acid, DPA=Diaphonic acid, CDA=1,4-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid).
