The hexachloroethane refining aluminum melt is a better method in the traditional chloride salt refining, it is not only easy to operation but also has excellent purifying effect, however, the problem of this method is that produce pollution. When using chloride salt or Cl2to refine the aluminum melt, a large number of pollution gas will be generated directly or indirectly, such as Cl2、 HCl、C2Cl4、AlCl3, the factory building and appliance will be corrosion, and the working condition will be worsen. Though the traditional single port nozzle does not produce pollution, its degassing efficiency is low, and the refining effect can not unsatisfactory. With the more and more wide application of aluminum alloys, it also put forward higher request for melt-treatment of aluminum alloys. It is aimed at the common problems that existed in aluminum melt processing technology, there contents two main research in this paper, one is the preparation of porous nozzle, the other is degassing the aluminum melt by blowing N2with porous nozzle, the comparison experiment is hexachloroethane refining aluminum melt, and the experiment results show:(1) Degassing aluminum melt by using porous nozzle blowing N2makes the bubbles more fine scattered, and increases contact area among the bubble and liquid aluminum, thus improve the degassing result, and the degassing result is roughly equal to hexachloroethane refining effect, the average minimum hydrogen content of degassing aluminum melt by using porous nozzle blowing N2is0.0967cm3/100gAl, in this research, the minimum hydrogen content even to0.07cm3/100gAl; the average minimum hydrogen content of the hexachloroethane refining aluminum melt is0.0933cm3/100gAl, and the minimum hydrogen content is0.08cm3/100gAl.(2) When degassing the ZL114aluminum melt by using porous nozzle blowing N2, that only needs about8-10minutes to make the hydrogen content fall to lowest, however, there needs15-20minutes to make the hydrogen content fall to lowest when using the hexachloroethane to refine aluminum melt. So in industrial production, the method that degassing aluminum melt by using porous nozzle blowing N2can save purification treatment time, and improve the production efficiency.(3) Degassing aluminum melt by using porous nozzle blowing N2can not only solves the pollution problem when treatment aluminum melt, but also can reduces the refining costs.
