With the development of commodity economy in China, the awareness of trademarks and signs is enhancing, people also put forward higher requirements of the materials of trademark and label as well as production methods. As a chemical fiber country, China produces large amount of waste nylon, which is difficult to realize its use value. The technology of coating of trademark fabric with waste nylon6(PA6) combines the two together and achieves the recycling of waste. But the domestic enterprises applying this technology have plenty to be solved at present:the quality instability of each batch; the defects(bubbles and nodes) on the surface of coating fabric; the poor printing effect and so on. In this paper, in order to obtain stable coating technology and high quality coating products, the reaction mechanism of PA6and calcium chloride-methanol, the reparation of coating paste with waste PA6and the properties of thin film s and the technology of trademark fabric coating with PA6were studied.The mechanism of calcium chloride-methanol was analyzed by infrared spectrum (FTIR), the solution mechanism of PA6and calcium chloride-methanol was studied by FTIR and X-ray diffraction(XRD). The results show that when the reaction temperature is70℃and the concentration of calcium chloride3.3mol/kg, the suitable reaction time is45min; calcium chloride can destroy the crystal structure of nylon6and make the transition of crystalline-amorphous.A coating paste derived from industrial waste PA6dissolved in the solution of calcium chloride/methanol was prepared via adding a certain amount of oleamide, whitening agent, polyether and calcium carbonate. The mechanical properties of thin film was determined by electronic universal material testing machine and the effects of the composition and process conditions of the coating paste on thin film’mechanical properties were analyzed. The results show that when the mass ratio of methanol and PA6, CaCO3were100:18,100:10-20, the properties of coating paste are stable at the stirring rate of100s-300s-1,70℃, the elongation and stress at break of thin film are39.79%and0.63MPa, which is flexible and more suitable for coating fabric for trademark.By exploring the effect of coagulation bath process(the concentration of methanol and coagulation time) on the coated fabric thickness and uniformity, the dosage of PA6on thickness and softness, the dosage of CaCO3on whiteness, softness, printing effect, and washing fastness, the dosage of poly ether on anti-bonding effect, baking process on coated fabric style and printing effect. The technology and formula were determined. Coagulation bath condition:the concentration of methanol is less than or equal to9%, coagulation time is90s; the baking condition:140℃,60s; the formula:the mass ratio of methanol and polyether, PA6, CaCC3were100:2.5,100:18,100:20. The resulting coated fabrics have better thickness, softness, printing effects and washing fastness.The mechanism and technology of trademark fabric coating with PA6waste were systematically studied. The conclusion provided the theoretical basis and specific technical guidance for the production practice.
