The wet coating of the poly-amide is anovel process that covers the surface of fabric with polymer membrane, whichtransfers in solidification process from slurry that generates by dissolving the wastenylon with calcium chloride and methanol solvent. In addition, the wet coatingprocess has some advantages for environmental protection, such recycle the wastnylon, improve the quality of the products. Nevertheless their color is alone white, soit is significant to develop black labeled fabric which is better in various performances.These problems of the color, surface irregularities, printing performance appear forthe black labeled fabrics. Therefore, in the paper, preparation mechanism andmembrane structure of wet-forming poly-amide were studied; The components of thecoating slurry and the coating process conditions were also developed, optimized thestable wet coating process for black labeled fabric.Firstly, preparation mechanism and membrane structure of wet-formingpoly-amide were studied. The black nylon-6were tested in different dosage of theCaCl2by the means of the infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) anddifferential scanning calorimeter (DSC). It was found that Ca2+can break thehydrogen bonds in the nylon-6and increase nylon-6dissolution in the calciumchloride/methanol, it is confirmed that the mass ratio of the calcium chloride andnylon-6was2:1. The wet-forming black nylon-6membranes shows that thecomposite membrane owed a smooth surface and the internal surface iscellular structure by mechanical observing, the cross sections form a asymmetricmicropore structure which is similar to sponge. When adding carbon black and dye,the composite membrane is black, the membrane surface appears many holes andbecame rough, these holes were filled in the carbon black and dye. For the mechanicalproperty of the nylon-6membrane, the fracture stress was1.63N, elongation achieved300%, when adding carbon black or dye, the fracture stress and elongation decreased. Optimize the black colorants. By means of the measurement for the dispersity ofthe colorant in coating slurry, the K/S and color fastness for the coated fabric, it isfound that the properties of the carbon black301and neutral dye S-RR were better,blended them and its various performances is best. Combining the carbon black301and neutral dye S-RR, also the better dispersity, color and color fastness can beachieved. Therefore, prepare the multiple coating slurry of black nylon-6bycombining the carbon black301and neutral dye S-RR with3:1ratio.The compound coating slurry for the nylon-6and the wetting process weredeveloped. By the measurement of viscosity for the coating slurry and the K/S, fabricstyle, colour fastness and printing performance for the coated fabric, the formula ofthe coating slurry was determined, it showed that when the dosage of the methanolwas100g, calcium chloride was40g, black nylon-6was20g, carbon black301was2.0g, neutral dyes S-RR was6.0g, additive TS100was1.0g, Through the formula, theblack wet-forming labeled fabric would be produced. These conditions weredetermined that the reaction temperatures of the calcium chloride and methanol were65℃, the reaction times were10min and90min respectively; it was the better that thetemperature of the coating slurry was40℃, the viscosity was2-3Pa·s; Thesolidification process conditions showed that the concentration of methanol was20%in the coagulating bath, the temperature was25℃, the time was150s;Fixing fishingprocess: it had two dips and two rolls, its mangle expression is30%-40%,Dye-fixing agent is HS-221F and its dosage is15g/L, baking process showed thatbaking temperature was150℃, baking time was60s after drying. According to theabove optimizing finishing process, the black wet-forming labeled fabric has bettercolor, color fastness and print property, which can satisfies the factory demands.The paper studied the mechanism and finishing process of the black wet-forminglabeled fabric, which provided a theoretical basis and process guidance for the factory,and expand its bright business future. |
