On The Application Of Deconstruction In The Modern Home Furnishing Design Of Cushion

This thesis mainly studies the design of modern home back cushion with the deconstruction design method, discusses the disorder embodied in the decentralized characteristics of the deconstruction, dynamic features of deconstruction architectural design, the idealized and disordered decomposition of deconstruction and aesthetic and visual reconstruction process of deconstruction, and thinks of the aesthetic features of modern home back cushion design. Based on these theories, we design a series of cushions named "RELATIONS"and analyze their meaning, graphics, materials, colors, unpredictable features and interpretation of heart, fully reflecting that forms of back cushion change from single shape into a various one—the change of design form, seeming disorderly but revealing a rational sense of order. The function of this back cushion changes from practical usage into comprehensive trend, adding a game function besides meeting the basic functions. This cushion comes to the trend of high added value from the value in use so that its price that exceeds the product value can be accepted by audience psychologically. All in all, applying the deconstruction theory to design the back cushion makes shape of cushion novel and unique, makes the cushion not only practical but practical and interesting at the same time, enriches thinking ways of home back cushion design, directs home design practices and provides some thinking ways for the home designers in future.
