Pyrrole monomer is a kind of non carcinogen, and polypyrrole as a conductive polymer is easysynthesis, good stability, and has flexible mechanical properties and machinability. Therefore, the study ofpolypyrrole has attracted the interest of many researchers, and polypyrrole is considered to be one of themost application prospect of conductive polymer materials. Because of its easy to electrochemicalpolymerization, environment friendly, conducting state, good stability, high electrical conductivity, etc,polypyrrole film has been widely used in the sensor. Using the polypyrrole film modified electrode toprepared biosensor, has been gradually applied in the field of medical detection and environmentalmonitoring. The performance of common polypyrrole biosensors as glucose biosensor, cholesterolbiosensor and DNA biosensor, when prepared based on the doped polypyrrole composite, has improved alot. Electrochemical polymerization technology, makes up for the defect of chemical oxidationpolymerization can’t film, and improves the contactive of polypyrrole film and electrode, so that the sensorsensing effect is becoming better. Research of the application of biosensor, based on polypyrrolecomposites material modified electrode, has a vital significance in clinical medicine, bioengineering, foodindustry, development of environmental pollutant detection and other fields.First of all, the paper introduced and summarized synthetic method polypyrrole, electrochemicalproperties, applications and development direction of polypyrrole and doped polypyrrole. And thensummarized the classification of sensor and application of various fields, emphatically introduced theresearch present situation of the application of doped polypyrrole in prepared biosensor and the futuredevelopment direction.The focus in this article is the preparation of polypyrrole film modified pencil lead electrode based onthe electrochemical oxidation method, with the traditional three electrode system. Then physical adsorptionmethod is adopted to fix glucose oxidase on the modified electrode to prepared glucose biosensor. First,modified pencil lead electrode with polypyrrole film in the solution containing pyrrole monomer toprepared the glucose biosensor electrodes. Experiments tested various properties of the biosensor, andexamined the effect of the polymerization time, polymerization temperature, adsorption amount of glucoseoxidase, test voltage and interferents on performance of the biosensor. Then under the condition of theabove optimization, doping benzene sulfonic acid sodium and sodium p-toluene sulfonic acid into the polypyrrole film to prepare new-style biosensor, studies the influence of different doping amounts on theperformance of the biosensor. At last, we used the new-style glucose biosensor based on the polypyrrolecomposites modified electrode, to compared with the performace of glucose biosensor based on not dopedpolypyrrole film modified electrode.The experimental results showed that electrochemical synthetic polypyrrole has many advantages ashigh purity, simple process, easy to operate and less environmental pollutions. The polypyrrole glucosebiosensor,prepared under the condition of the optimization, has high sensitivity, low detection limit, fastresponse time, larger current response, strong anti-interference ability and long service life. Dopingsulfonate can change the micro topography of polypyrrole a lot, enhance the conductivity of polypyrrole,thus improve the various performance of the glucose biosensor. This thesis has certain reference value forresearch of applications of polypyrrole composites materiel in life science.
