The pineapple leaf fiber has fast moisture absorption and evaporation performance,which as a new type of textile materials degumming has aroused attention. Pineapple leaf fiber has better performance of rapid absorption and evaporation, is an excellent natural health new textile material. Because of natural sterilization, antibacterial function,and it can effectively drive mite and remove peculiar smell, the fabric is favored by people. The pineapple leaf fiber degumming has aroused attention.The paper the compare with the advantages and disadvantages of the degumming method in being, study out a new degumming-mechanical degumming. The main contents are as following:(1) The structure and chemical composition of pineapple leaf fiber were analyzed.Analyse the structure and chemical composition of pineapple leaf fiber, we understand the internal composition of fiber and its arrangement, analyse the effect of structure on mechanical degumming. The results show that, the strength and stiffness of pineapple leaf fiber are biger and its elongation is smaller, which makes the pineapple leaf fiber can be machined. The mechanical behavior between cellulose and pectin (non cellulose) are different, which makes that cellulose can be preserved, but colloid is damaged, when applied by different mechanical force. This study proves the feasibility of mechanical degumming.(2) Analyse the changes of fiber pectin content under and the morphology of damaged colloid.The tensile and compression of pineapple leaf fiber are tested by QJ210A electronic universal testing machine. The component content of pineapple leaf fiber is determined, and the morphology of damaged colloid is looked at by microscope. The results show that, colloid is removed amounts when pineapple leaf fiber was strectched. and the elastic modulus were know which can be used by modeling.(3)The mechanics model of the damage colloid were build,when pineapple leaf fiber in the mechanical degumming processBased on the experimental data were established, the mechanics model of the damage colloid has been build.Pineapple leaf fiber in the longitudinal tensile force,the relationship between the effect of removing colloid and fibers’elastic modulus with the external load was know. The size external load and degumming can be controled according to the elastic modulus. (4) The mechanism of degumming was designed and the fibers’ mechanical property was been analysedAccording to the mechanical test results, data of tensile loads and the morphology of damaged colloid, and then settled on the mechanism of degumming of pineapple leaf fiber. At last, analyse the stress condition of fiber, when pineapple leaf fiber in the mechanism. The results show that, the degumming mechanism can remove a number of colloid. and laid the foundation for the later realized mechanization of pineapple leaf fiber degumming.
