Our country began to waste recycling refractory materials research gradually after2000,mainly focuses on the study of waste magnesia carbon brick, alumina magnesiacarbon bricks carbon refractory material. And to recycle material hydration treatment is animportant part in the process of reuse.This topic in consulting a large number of literature at inland and abroad andunderstand widely hydration technology research on the basis of the research ofaluminium carbide formation mechanism, including the calcination temperature, the ratioof raw materials on the influence of aluminum carbide formed; And add water, hydrationtemperature and hydration time factors on aluminium carbide hydration degree ofinfluence, the results of the study show that:Waste magnesia carbon brick in the course of processing, hydration process wastemagnesia carbon brick is an important link in the process, which needs to eliminate thealuminium carbide mainly exist in the <1mm in the material. Use of flaky graphite andmetal aluminium formation of aluminium carbide process, found that as sample ofgraphite quantity added to, the more the more generation of aluminium carbide. When thetemperature reached800℃of aluminium carbide diffraction peak is the strongest, and thehigher the temperature, the formation of aluminium carbide is more and more difficult.In the original sample graphite quantity added to the same basis into different contentof metal Si powder in different degree influence the formation of the material of theapparent porosity, bulk density and performance. The study found that the SiC in1200℃to begin to form, and in the1400℃is most evident when the aluminium carbide, leadingto the magnesia carbon brick significantly reduce the harmful material.Choose in800℃when graphite and metal Al mixed with aluminium carbide formedmainly phase sample for hydration process. Through the experiment discovered, hydrationtime for influence hydration process is the most important factor, add water next, finallyfor hydration temperature.Different hydration temperature, the hydration process of the best scheme will bedifferent. If use the room temperature (25℃) aluminum carbide the hydration process,add water quality about24ml and hydration for6hours, hydration effect is the best, if use60℃for aluminium carbide the hydration process, add water quality about16ml andhydration time for4hours, hydration effect is the best, if use90℃for aluminiumcarbide the hydration process, add water around10ml and hydration for6hours,hydration effect is the best.
