As a main rolling machine equipment,the cost of mediumplate turnover machine is very expensive. Nowadays energy saving andemission reduction are the main trend for all the Iron and steelindustry.To ensure the medium plate turnover machine operated safetyand longevity,it has been an important subject in the iron and steel field.In the paper,the analysis object is the turnover machine cantileverbeam and the steel claws. The structure of cantilever beam and steelclaws, temperature field and thermal-stress of field are analyzed withANSYS. The main research contents and results are as follows:1、In the structure analysis,it is established the turnover machinecantilever beam and the steel talons3d model. And then simulate theturnover machine from0°to85°flip process turnover machine beamand the stress of the steel talons situation. This paper compares andanalyzes the changes of the stress when thickness is changed, at the sametime to ensure the strength requirement, and finally reach the aim ofenergy saving and longevity.2、It is full consideration of thermal conductivity and specific heatcapacity and density of physical parameters in the temperature field. Thenestablished the turnover machine cantilever beam and the steel clawcooling time and bearing grease selection. 3、In the thermal stress analysis, the node temperature as body loadloading to structure, considering the influence of temperature on stress,thermal stress field finite element simulation, finally established turnovermachine beam and claw optimum size.It has a beneficial reference to extend body using life and improvesecurity.All above can also provides some theoretic references formaintenance and design medium plate turnover machine.
