This study based on substrate material which was named geopolymer. On the one hand, silicate solid wastes were used as raw material to prepared obturator porous geopolymer materials at high temperature. On the other hand, kaolin was used to prepare through porous geopolymer materials under the condition of low temperature. This article mainly discussed the amount of aluminum silicon material powder, sodium silicate, modulus, liquid-solid ratio, mixed foaming agent and water effect on the properties of materials. The process of curing and foaming temperature effect on material properties was discussed detailly. At lass, XRD, stereoscopic microscopy, electronic universal presser, mercury injection apparatus, thermal conductivity instrument, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermo gravimetric (TG), differential thermal and other modern means were used to study the process factors, the relationship between the microstructure and properties of materials. The experimental results show that, for the geopolymer obturator porous materials of this thesis, different raw materials had difference effection on it’s properties. The geopolymer obturator porous materials which mad from Kaolin, have the most homogeneous hole, the thinnest hole wall and the lowest volume density of0.13g/cm3. For the fly ash geopolymer obturator porous materials, the hole wall was thickest, the volume density was above0.50g/cm3, but its compressive strength was highest also. Sodium silicate modulus, liquid-solid ratio, sintering temperature and holding time have similar results on the performance of the porous materials which make from three different raw materials. The coefficient of thermal conductivity of the foams that made from kaolin geopolymer、clay、fly ash were0.4557W·m-1k-1、0.6309W·m-1k-1and0.4796W·m-1k-1. The coefficient of thermal conductivity of foam glass which have a density of0.20g/cm3is0.5266W·m-1k-1.For through-hole porous geopolymer materials, the different moisture content of the raw material were made different effect on compressive strength and water flux. This thesis concluded that the more of water in the raw materials, the lower compressive strength and larger water flux it had. From the result of mercury injection of geopolymer porous materials, the bore of porous materials can be divided into two distribution, that is1~10μm and10~50nm. The last, tow methods in water filtration applications are given in this thesis, and the filters corresponding were prepared.
