As a kind of aluminosilicate gelling material with a three-dimensional network structure,geopolymers are regar-ded as the future star for the effective recycling of industrial solid waste and high-value-added transformation,and are the hottest hot spots in the current material field.One of the topics.In this paper,based on the previous research on alkali-produced fly ash for the preparation of geopolymers,the use of potassium water glass instead of the traditional sodium water glass as the activator for the characteristics of low flexural strength and poor toughness is explored.Preparation of geopolymers from different fly ash modified with water-soluble organics and attempts to develop extrusion molding methods;characterization of alkali-excited fly ash for the preparation of geopolymers based on macroscopic mechanical strengths and microstructures and other modern detection methods,and analysis of these Toughening-enhancement method in the action mechanism of alkali-excited fly ash for the formation of geopolymers;successful preparation of potassium water glass to stimulate fly ash preparation of geopolymers,water-soluble organics modified geopolymer,using extrusion molding process means Preparation of geopolymers,the main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)Explore the ratio of materials and maintenance methods of geopolymers when potash water glass is used as an activator,and compare the macroscopic mechanical properties and microscopic tests of geopolymers with sodium water glass as an activator,and find that potassium water glass ignites fly ash The settling time of geopolymers is far less than that of sodium water glass-activated fly ash for the preparation of geopolymers,and the macroscopic mechanical strength of geopolymers is even better when potassium water glass is used as an activator,but sodium water glass is used under scanning electron microscope.As an activator,there are fewer microcracks in the geopolymer body and the microstructure is more compact.(2)To investigate the modification effect of four water-soluble organic powders of polyvinyl alcohol,polyethylene glycol,polyacrylamide(cation)and polyacrylamide(anion)on the preparation of geopolymers from fly ash.Combining macro-mechanical strength and microscopic testing methods,the toughening effect and principles of four water-soluble organics were studied.Through research,it was found that the polyacrylamide(cation)toughening effect was the best,the flexural and compressive strength was significantly improved,and the reduction of the pressure-fold ratio was more obvious.(3)Extrusion of alkali-excited fly ash by means of extrusion molding to prepare geopolymers and adjustment of the raw material composition suitable for extrusion in a vacuum extruder.The macro-mechanical strength is significantly enhanced compared to the pouring process,and The micro-topography shows that the structure is significantly more compact,micro-crack is significantly improved,toughening effect is obvious,and it is possible to achieve continuous industrial production.
