Inertinite content of Shenfu coal is commonly high,which has adverse effect ongasification and liquefaction of such coal. We can separate macerals from Shenfu coal byflotation method, which include vitrinite and inertinite.Shenfu coal can realize high-efficiencyutilization that vitrinite is used for liquefaction and gasification and inertinite used for thepreparation of carbon materials.The properties of Shenfu coal and macerals were studied deeply through the porestructure test,FTIR, maceral analysis,coal interface performance testing methods in the paper.It found that great difference on pore structure, surface functional groups, wettability,surfacepotential and grindability,and provide a theoretical foundation for subsequent separation ofmacerals.To achieve the full dissociation of the different macerals, the selective crushing of itswas studied by using microwave pretreatment in the paper, the dissociation of differentmacerals was increased significantly after the microwave introducing, rich vitrinite content inraw coal after radiation by31.83%. SEM analysis shows that microwave promote fusain crackgrowth.Based on difference on wettability and surface electrical of macerals, this paper hascompleted flotation separation of experimental study in flotation cell (1.5L).For flotationseparation process single factor analysis of macerals, the best experimental results of eachsingle factor, the pulp density of45g/L, kerosene dosage of0.2mL/L, n-butyl alcoholconsumption was0.01mL/L, rotating speed of1800r/min, clean coal yield is54.71%,vitrinitecontent in clean coal is62.00%, the comprehensive efficiency is27.88%. Collecting agentsappear different yield and rich vitrinite content under different pH, kerosene is best, in thepH=13, its yield is57.63%, rich vitrinite content is54.21%, comprehensive efficiency is23.58%. Shenfu coal was preprocessed by adopting the method of acidification, basification, oxidation, it found that flotation separation effect is greater when hydrofluoric acidacidification pretreatment has66.27%of clean coal yield,37.25%of rich vitrinite content,12.61%of the comprehensive efficiency.It has further completed flotation separation of experimental in flotation column (0.5L).through single factor and orthogonal experiment to determine the best technology offlotation column flotation of collector dosage of0.4mL/0.5L (kerosene), dosage of foamingagent (octanol)0.04mL/0.5L, pulp concentration of45g/L, air input of80L/h, this time cleancoal yield is88.96%, ash content is2.64%, the comprehensive efficiency is52.44%.Screening of different agents found that cationic collector (cetyl trimethyl ammoniumbromide) has the grater flotation separation effect, the clean coal yield is89.63%, the vitrinitecontent is52.31%, the comprehensive efficiency is34.48%in the optimum conditions. Usingammonium persulfate and silane coupling agent modification was carried out on the Shenfucoal, it found that silane coupling agent can improve the vitrinite content.The classic first-order kinetics model and the second-order kinetics model were used tocarried on the experimental results of flotation kinetics fitting calculation, the results showedthat the classic first-order kinetics model can better simulate flotation process of Shenfu coal.MechanismAnalysis showed that two kinds of collector combination occurs cascade typeadsorption, inorganic adjusting agent mixed with the collecting agent occurs weaving typeadsorption.
