Coal mine survey information is the concentrated reflection of the coal mine geologicalsurvey work as well as an important basis of coal production and management. Since most ofour mining bureau in China still adopt the general information management systemconventional test data analysis and management method at present, which there are someproblems. For example, the general process of data entry firstly by other software calculatedthe original measurement data results and input the results into the database. This approachcan’t be directly calculated storage of raw data, which increased the calculation of the middleof the process and increase the workload; Second, the existing mine survey software modulesthrough secondary development of CAD,so have good seamless with CAD data, but the useof the limited existing GIS data. The lack of statistical analysis and spatial editing is thecommon point of the existing mine measuring software.For the situation of coal mines survey work in our country, based on the reading of a largenumber of domestic and foreign literature and through the understanding of the measurementof coal production workflow and research the problems which faced in the coal minegeological survey work, the author has designed the mine Survey Geographic InformationSystem at last. This system realizes the computer data processing function and module of thedaily coal survey work, which is capable of general coal mine digital work, including thecalculation about survey of traverse level, data input and data check work, moreover,it can becoordinate transformation which is convenient to daily work. After checked measurement datathat can be edited in the spatial data and spatial analysis module for data editing and spatialanalysis of GIS, the traverse diagram can be automatically generated by the traverse pointmeasurement, and can input the attribute value of traverse point, modify the node etc. Whenthe data edit checks is correct, it can draw a new layer roadway. From the figure we candetermine the exact location of each measurement site and the number of distribution in aroadway. With this system, we can easily understand the spatial distribution of the coal mineroadway information which to provide decision support information for managers and various functional departments, to promote safe production and improve labor productivity.The system uses ArcGIS Engine10GIS software development platform,using Accessdatabase and Excel data storage, using C#language extensions and hybrid secondarydevelopment component calls in Microsoft Visual Studio2010development environment.
