The atmospheric pollution problem caused by SO2of coal-fired flue gas is stillserious, and the economical and efficient technologies of SO2removal has been themain direction of reaserch on gas pollutants control in our country. Semi-dry fluegas desulfurization is one of the most promising technologies because of itsless-water-consumption and proper desulfurization efficiency. However, lowutilization ratio of absorbent constrains the application extension of this technology.Multistage spouted gas cleaning invented by Harbin Institute of Technology is a newinternal circulation fluidized bed semi-dry flue gas desulfurization technology. Thestructure of multistage spouted reactor directly decides the distribution of flue gasdesulfurization residues particles,then exert an significant impact on the utilizationratio of absorbent and desulfurization efficiency.In this paper, the effect of ribs on top and walls of tower, cape device, towerheight of the multistage spouted bed reactor on the circulation flow of the absorbentwas studied, in order to design a high efficiency and low cost flue gasdesulfurization reactor. The velocity ranges in inlet and outlet region of the leveltow tower was measured by the Particle Dynamic Analyzer on the gas-solid twophase flow test rig. The effect of ribs on top and walls of tower, cape device, heightof tower, and velocity in inlet region on velocity of particals in the reflux area wasresearched. The result indicated that ribs increased the velocity of particals in thereflux area, and the ribs with25mm height and25mm width made the best effect.The cape device raised the share of particals going down from the top. There was abest height between top of tower and the outlet making the rate get maximun,100mm in this paper. The portion of and width of the reflux area decreased as thevelocity of air in inlet rose. Ribs and cape device reduced the influnce of the gasflue in inlet on the particles reflux.
