(Xi’an University ofArchitecture and Technology; SHANXI; Xi’an;710055)In recent years, with the improvement of productivity level of open pit mineenterprise, in order to adapt to open pit mine which is developing rapidly in highintensity and more area operations, further more, for ensuring an efficiency and securityof open pit mine production, there are emerging out new ideas for informationmanagement of vehicles in mine taking advantage of wireless positioning technology,geographic information system and modern mobile communication technology. It is anurgent request that applying the new technology and new ideas to the actual productionof open pit mine enterprise what’s more to accelerate the information construction. Inthis situation, monitoring and positioning system of open pit mine for vehicles whicharise at the historic moment. The system which is not only playing a role of monitoringand positioning for vehicles, it also can provide inputting the vehicles information, faultalarm, emergency help and intelligent navigation and so on.It is proposed by this paper that using GPSONE technology to open pit mine. Thissystem uses in JinduiCheng open pit mine according to hardware structures andsoftware implementation. It is in detail which GPSONE principle, working mode andnetwork architecture was introduced. Further more, there are five advantages forGPSONE. Secondly for the experiment it tests the different results by two differentmodels and proves the seamless connection in two different conditions. The paperintroduced the process of displaying location of vehicles based on GIS, it is establishedfor data base and data table with the demand of open pit mine which is prepared forGPSONE application in JinduiCheng open pit mine. Finally, the paper designed theGPSONE vehicle and summarized the positioning data access model of hardwaremodule. On the basis of theoretical study and experimental test, it developed and showed vehicle positioning function, historical trajectory playback function, vehiclescheduling function vehicle information input function and vehicle file managementfunction towards JinduiCheng open pit mine.The system of positioning center which is implemented the GPS and CDMA basestation positioning. It solved the problem that positioning without satellite. It has beenproved that vehicle monitoting and positioning system based on GPSONE can befeasibly used in JinduiCheng open pit mine and has improved the operational efficiencyof the enterprise.
