With the development of computer and network technology, the L2control system has beenestablished in the new steel automation systems in order to meet the market demand. The mainequipment of the continuous annealing production line is the continuous annealing furnace,which directly affects the quality, productivity and cost of the product. The study of the L2control system for continuous annealing furnace has a decisive significance for productionefficiency, product quality and energy conservation.Based on the L2control system for continuous annealing line in Shandong, the L2controlsystem for continuous annealing furnace and the analysis of the continuous annealing lineprocess was given in the article, and the method of annealing furnace control was studied. Thefuzzy PID control was used to establish the temperature model of the continuous annealingfurnace, and PI control was used in the auxiliary loop. The SQL database, VS2008, VB.NET andC development tools and platforms were used in the analysis and design of the annealing furnaceL2control system. Due to the L2control system of the continuous annealing furnace, the optimalcombustion control, temperature control, data transmission and data management were done, andthe level of automation and control accuracy were improved. The temperature model of thecontinuous annealing furnace L2control system based on fuzzy PID, the main loop oftemperature and the deputy loop of air and fuel were designed. PID contorl and fuzzy PIDcontorl were compared in the simulation software, and fuzzy PID control was used in thepractical application to verify and accuracy. The design of the interface of the continuousannealing furnace model was also discussed for the future maintenance and re-development ofthe system.The system has been used in Shandong steel plant and it was proved to be successful. Ithelps to implement the accurate calculation of parameters and a high level control of thecontinuous annealing furnace to ensure the stable operation of the unit and high efficiency andquality.
