With the development of the world economy, resource crisis become a problem manycountries have to face, steel has been applied to various engineering fields and the demandof it is increasing year by year. since steel is a limited resource,the demand of it is certain tobeyond peoples’ ability. Study of composite materials has become the future direction ofsustainable development.It has unique advantages comparing with traditional material.Thispaper mainly did the new composite steel polyurethane composite pipe crashworthinessresearch.
