Nowadays, research on mine refuge chamber has become a highly concerned scientificand engineering problem to domestic and abroad experts. How to guarantee the anti shockperformance of the chamber is not only the most important problem, but it is also thetheoretical foundation and basic principle of establishing the design standards. Although thereare successful examples for mine refuge chamber design on abroad. But mines in China havetheir own unique characteristics. And imported refuge chamber is relatively expensive,therefore, it means a lot for our country to independently research and develop the refugechamber. But there are certain lack of design theory basis and criteria in the aspect of refugechamber research, which lead the entire develop process to a repeated exploration of design-numerical simulation-physical simulation-revise design. As a result, the research and designcycle was prolonged, the cost and the risk was raised. Therefore, based on the shape andstructure analysis of domestic and abroad refuge chamber, the refuge chamber which iscorrespond Chinese mines real environment was designed in this dissertation. Numericallysimulated the designed refuge chamber, contrasted and analyzed its anti shock performanceby using ANSYS Finite Element Analysis Software. Optimum refuge chamber structure waseventually obtained, which provided a certain theoretical foundation of the research anddevelopment of high anti shock performance and low cost mine refuge chamber. The mainresearch were shown below.(1)Based on the current domestic and international research status of mine refugechamber, cabin shape structure and the finite element numerical simulation analysis, thenumerical simulation programs of mine refuge chamber which is correspond with Chinesemines environment was established, including the geometry model, material model, elementtype, size and applied load mode of mine refuge chamber;(2)According to the domestic and foreign various shapes of mine refuge chamber antishock performance and applicability, preliminary design and numerical simulation of square and vaulted two shapes of mine refuge chamber, and the stress and strain distributions wasobtained. Analyzed the anti shock performance safety comparison, concluded that under thesame parameters, square mine refuge chamber has good anti shock performance;(3)For some problems such as lifesaving cabin escape window is placed in the middlepart of chamber caused toxic gases into the survival class, and the gas explosion to minerefuge chamber overall anti shock performance, escape window anti shock performance andimpact escape routes, this dissertation obtained the optimal mine refuge chamber structurebased on numerical simulation analysis, which include the design of mine refuge chamberwhose escape window is in the refuge chamber transition cabin, in the middle of survivalcabin, at the end of survival cabin, numerical simulation calculation and anti shockperformance safety analysis of structure of several designed mine refuge chamber by usingANSYS software;(4)Numerical simulation calculation and the anti shock performance safety analysis foroptimum mine refuge chamber under different impact loads and parameters was operated. Aseries of mine refuge chamber structure recommended parameters which were designed tomeet the different anti shock performance requirements were obtained. Which provided sometheoretical basis for the high anti shock performance and low cost mine refuge chamber.
