The CNC system is the core of the PCB drilling machine, directly affecting the controlperformance of PCB drilling machine. In this paper, according to the requirement of the function andperformance of CNC, an open, high performance and low cost of the numerical control system isdesigned.In this paper, the CNC system is composed of industrial PC and special motion controller.Industrial PC is to perform man-machine interface and drilling path optimization, and so on. Thearchitecture of motion controller is based on ARM, FPGA and real-time operating system μ C/OS–IIto complete the real-time tasks.Drilling path optimization is the important means to improve the PCB drilling machine drillingefficiency. According to the mathematical model of the drilling path optimization problems, artificialfish algorithm is used to solve drilling path optimization problems;however, in solving large scaledrilling path optimization problem,the basic artificial fish algorithm need a long time and efficiency isdrop. By increasing two strategies, the artificial fish algorithm have more ability to solve theoptimization problem of large scale drilling path.Acceleration/deceleration control is the core technology of the motion control. In this paper,linear speed control algorithm and S curve speed control algorithm is simplified.meanwhile, putforward a kind of special algorithm to better meet the requirement of the PCB drilling machine axiscontrol.Through the PCB drilling machine platform, the hardware and software of CNC system is testedto verify the system functional, at the same time, the drilling path optimization algorithm and motioncontrol algorithm was tested. All requirements are met.
