In recent years, China’s coal mine safety accidents occurred frequently, not onlycaused heavy casualties bring misfortune to many families, but also made companiessuffered huge economic losses, this is mainly with coal mine safety technology isrelatively backward in our country, Mint Safety Information System Network are nothighly relevant. In this paper, through the analysis of the problems of existing coal mineproduction environment monitoring system, put forward the coal mine productionenvironment monitoring and early warning system which based on the technology ofWIFI, then make full use of the advantages of wireless sensor networks and WIFIcommunication technology, combining with the implementation of downhole industrialEthernet for comprehensive, real-time monitoring of production parameters, throughintelligent early warning to monitoring data analysis and processing efficiently advancewarning and monitoring process, thus effectively guarantee the safe production of coalmine production environment. In this paper, the main content includes:(1)By analyzing downhole production environment monitoring and research statusat home and abroad, detailed study of the system used in the wireless sensor networktechnology and WIFI network architecture and characteristics of wirelesscommunication technology, then this paper put forwards the coal mine productionenvironment monitoring and warning system which based on WIFI communicationtechnology.(2)Using wireless sensors for downhole production environment parameters suchas gas concentration, CO concentration, the concentration of oxygen, and otherreal-time data acquisition and transmission, this paper has realized online monitoring ofthe coal mine production environment based on WIFI communication technology. (3)According to the coal mine production environment monitoring data to(4)establish intelligent early warning model, the model can automatically calculatethe coal mine safety risk of four grades, and then has accordingly audible and visualalarm signal, SMS warning output, automatically match the appropriate contingencyplans for both the calculation results, strive to minimize disaster losses.(5)In combination with the practical situation of Jinjie coal mine for WIFI networkdeployment design, and successfully completed the equipment installation,commissioning and trial operation, the application results show that the system play animportant role to improve the safety factor of the mine production environment, toprotect the safety of underground miner’s life.With the development of wireless communication technology, the coal mineproduction environment monitoring and early warning system which based on thetechnology of WIFI has incomparable advantage over conventional downholemonitoring system and it will have very good application prospect and popularizationvalue.
