Frictional heat was the important role of factors affected the friction and wearmechanisms. The friction heat of PTFE braided composite in dry friction test underhigh-speed conditions could not be ignored, a lot of research has been done on theeffects of the performance and running life of mechanical parts by frictional heat athome and abroad, but the influential factors and changed rules of the frictional heatgenerated under actual conditions was rarely involved. Therefore, take research on thefriction heat of the friction surface under high-speed conditions, explore the changedrules of the frictional heat and the effects of frictional heat on friction surfacecoefficient of friction and wear mechanisms, has a very important practicalsignificance and theoretical value.MBY500high-frequency pressure swing friction and wear tester, JSM-5610LVscanning electron microscope, ANSYS finite element analysis software was used inthis paper to research tribological properties and frictional heat coupling mechanismsof PTFE braided composite on high-speed swing were studied, simulate thetemperature field distribution PTFE braided composites under certain conditions, fitout the friction temperature calculation formula in the specific conditions, and discussthe friction and wear mechanism of PTFE braided composites.The experimental results showed that the friction coefficient decreased with theincreased of the load and frequency, the impact of load on the friction coefficient ofthis trend is greater than the frequency under the load of50kN,60kN,70kN,80kN,90kN,100kN and frequency of2.5Hz,5Hz,7.5Hz,10Hz orthogonal test conditions;friction temperatures increased with the increased of the load and frequency; frictiontemperature has a certain correlation with friction coefficient, and they are influencedeach other; the important factor of friction and wear mechanisms of PTFE compositebraided was effected by the transfer film and friction heat; the influence of friction heat on the friction and wear has two sides, the normal use temperature of the linerwas not more than210℃; the liner temperature distribution through simulated, frictiontemperature of the liner center position was the highest, the gradient of frictiontemperature was descended distribution from the center of the pad to the surrounding,and decreased smaller and smaller; the wear mechanism is thermo-fatigue abrasion.
