In order to detect the friction and wear properties of 3D printed reticulated metal polymers under water lubrication conditions, the friction and wear properties of pure polyimide mesh metal polymers and polyimide mesh metal polymers containing 10% PTFE were compared and tested. The friction factor of the two under different additional loads and different pore spacing was determined by using the HSR-2M reciprocating friction and wear tester and the surface morphology of both materials was observed and recorded by optical electron microscope. The results show that the pure polyimide mesh metal polymer and polyimide mesh metal polymer containing 10% PTFE are generally decreased with the increase of the applied load, and the friction factor decreases.Contains 10% The friction factor curves of the polyimide mesh metal polymers of PTFE are under the friction factor curve of the pure polyimide mesh metal polymers. The polyimide mesh metal polymers with 10% PTFE with pore spacing of 0.7mm performed best. The friction properties of polyimide and 316 L mesh stainless steel filled with polyimide and polyimide with polytetrafluoroethylene under dry friction and micro-oil conditions were studied on HSR-2M reciprocating friction and wear tester. The experimental results show that with the increase of load, the wear mark increases and the wear amount increases with the increase of load under dry friction condition. The friction properties of reticulated stainless steel with smaller pore size are the best, and the friction coefficient is almost stable or even slightly decreased with the increase of pressure load. This is because the smaller pore size can form a perfect transfer film, thus improving the friction performance. In Under the condition of micro-oil,the friction property of the metal specimen with appropriate amount of PTFE mixed material was greatly improved.
