The water quality characteristic of blast furnace gas condensate is water amount is larger,the suspended solids content is higher, turbidity, partial acid, contains large amounts of chlorideions.Conventional coagulants can effectively reduce turbidity and suspended solidsconcentration in water, but for chlorine ions removal ability is limited, the chloride ion contentis too high, recycling will cause serious equipment corrosion, greatly shorten the operation lifeof equipment, will need to be considered. This paper maily studies the treatment and reuse ofthe blast furnace gas condensate water,directing the technical problems which is difficult todeal with the chlorine ions in the blast furnace gas condensate water.To provide a cost-effective,practical and technical measures to achieve recycling and reduce pollution to the surroundingenvironment. At the same time through a more in-depth mechanism analysis, to providetheoretical basis for the application and spreading of research results.This article measure SS, turbidity, chloride ion concentration hardness indicators and so onof the blast furnace gas condensate water in Baotou Iron and Steel Company, analyzing itscharacteristics and filtering out treatment plan of “coagulation+corrosion inhibition”.In the coagulation and sedimentation experiment, through experimental analysis, dataprocessing, to get the conclusion and discuss mechanism of coagulation and eliminate chlorineions, to find out using poly aluminum chloride, regardless of turbidity, suspended solidsremoval, and dechlorination ion having excellent effect. When PAC is25mg/L; Polymer watertreatment agent for the2ml/L; PH value of6.5or so, and the basic phase at the same time, theraw water turbidity after precipitate by128NTU drop below10NTU, removal rate of over98%, SS from352mg/L to below10mg/L, the removal rate of over99%, effluent SS andturbidity removal effect is obvious, visible and compact floc, effluent is clear, especially on thechloride ion removal effect is remarkable, the chloride ion in the raw water from1436.5mg/Lto267.19mg/L, the removal rate can reach82%, COD and sulfate, calcium ions and also to have certain remove effect. The method operability is strong, the indicators have reachedcirculating cooling water reuse standards.In the corrosion hanging tablets experimental, first through the experimental master Cl-,SO42-, suspended solids of condensate water corrosion effect law and corrosion mechanism onmetal after coagulation and sedimentation process, determine chemical and formulation for theBlast furnace gas condensate water, filtering out BTZ and PESA as sustained corrosion agent,when BTZ is1.0mg/L, PESA is15mg/L, temperature is50℃, pH value is7(after coagulationpH value), the corrosion rate is0.026mm/a<0.075mm/a.The reuse water is clear and realizationof gas condensate recycling. Compared with the individual chemicals, corrosion inhibitionperformance of composite will be varying degrees of enhanced,because of the coordinationeffect between them.
