At present, in mining thin seam and the composite layered deposits, open-pit miningmachine advantages is more and more obvious. open-pit mining machine can exploit thehardness of material between the bucket wheel excavator, excavator and be suitable for theproduction of coal, bauxite, phosphorus, gypsum, clay and other medium hardness of thedeposits. China is rich in lignite resources that are suitable for open pit mining, the coalhardness of most of those resources is small.The article that combines with the actual project need and takes a company’sproduction of a drum type CK600open-pit mining machine as the research object,determines the final plan of the electric drive of "the work device of the diesel generator,generator, and walking device". And for crawler machinery steering problem, this papermakes a detailed theoretical analysis and formula derivation, gets the steering conditions ofcaterpillar machinery in a certain radius. The paper have finished the whole structure of theopen pit mining machine design and assembly, and established the dynamic system, runningmechanism, the milling device, control system and other auxiliary devices. Made atheoretical calculation and analysis of crawler walking mechanism, including the track,driving wheel, roller, belt wheel, guide wheel, tensioning buffer device, running gearreducer, etc. Finished the design and calculation of rotor speed reducer of open-pit miningmachine work device, Respectively within the reducer gears, bearings, shaft and other partsof the stress analysis and strength calculation. Through statics analysis of the finite elementanalysis software ANSYS Workbench for the reducer housing, have completed the reducershell and end cover assembly structure model of strength and deformation analysis.
