In the project acceptance of cold rolling strip, nowadays, the grade of shape is oftenrequired, and the quality of strip shape is one of the main dependences. The precisiondivision of the level of the strip can not only reduce the problem of the dissent levelascertaining, but also but also allow enterprises to realize the difference sales, theeconomic benefits and market competitiveness. To realize the classification of cold rollingstrip is based on the shape statistics and evaluation. The accurate model of the datastatistics can achieve precision grading of strip. Multi index evaluation of componentshape can realize refined strip shape online, perfect mathematical model of shape control,and realize the flatness closed-loop control. Based on this, this paper established a modelof shape statistics and grade evaluation which is more accurate than traditional one.Firstly, in order to ensure the flatness detection signals is stable and reliable, andprevent the problem that flatness detection signals may be distorted occur, linearinterpolation and three spline interpolation methods are used to establish the shapeinterpolation model to shield accidental signal.Secondly, according to the goodness of fit test theory and the generalized extremevalue distribution theory, combined with the two methods of shape statistics which areused nowdays, established a model to classify the grades of the strip shape which is basedon the probability statistics theory. Besides, to refine strip shape online accurately, thepattern recongnition method contained3component shape which is based on Legendreorthogonal polynomial is uesd to realize the recognition and statistics of1~4componentshape.Then, for the problem of single index for the evaluation of the strip shape quality,established a model of strip shape comprehensive evaluation which is based on the fuzzycomprehensive theory, realize the multi index meticulous evaluation of strip shape, andmake the evaluaiton results more scientific and reliable.Finally, write the software interface of the shape statistics and evaluation of coldrolling strip. Processing the data of the strip with910mm width which is produced by 1050mm reversible cold rolling mill, and validating the applicability of the model of shapestatistics and evaluation proposed by this paper for the distribution of the shape data ismore widely.
