The microwave high-temperature technology is a comprehensive industrial technology bycoupling the materials with microwave to realize high-temperature sintering, synthesis, melting and heat treatment. Microwave heating, a form of dielectric heating, is understood asgeneration of heat in materials of low electrical conductivity by the action of a high-frequencyelectric field. It is rapid heating-up, uniform heating, energy economization&high-efficiency,environmental protection.Recently, the breeding and processing of shells is the important part of the inshore economy. The output of shells on the area of Yellow Sea and Bohai is nearly200ton one year. So muchshells has becoming a disaster of inshore entironment. The element of shells comprise90%CaCO3and some Zn, P, Si, etc.. But the shells always stack on the seaside as the trash, andpollute the entironment.Using the microwave high-temperature technology, sintering shells to calcium oxide, andulteriorly refining the calcium gluconate, Calcium citrate and Calcium propionate. Itelaborated on choosing of the experiment principle, operation method, the best calciningtemperature and time etc. It indicated refining the calcium oxide and ulteriorly refining thecalcium gluconate, Calcium citrate and Calcium propionate is feasible using microwavehigh-temperature heating methods.Otherwise, the microwave power and the parameters of SiC, affecting the temperaturerising characteristics of SiC in microwave field, are investigated experimentally. The paperhas important reference on the application of SiC in microwave field.
