Ecological Security Assessment And Analysis Of Liaoning Coastal Areas From Time And Space

Ecological safety, which is like economic safety and political safety, is also the basis ofnational security. The exploitation activities on Liaoning coastal area become more and morefrequently, along with the implementation of national strategy on revitalizing the Northeast.This paper pays attention to the human pressure and response factors, adhering to theideology of the “human-coast-sea” composite system, the space and time comprehensiveview of sustainable development on the coastal zone, and the concept of human oriented. Thispaper shows us the assessment and analysis of the spatial eco-security state on Liaoningcoastal zone from2001to2010, and then gives us an analysis of the change and trend ofecological safety of each county in this decade.The result shows that different counties have different levels of eco-security: Firstly,Changhai County is in the best safety status; Secondly, Lvshunkou District and ZhuangheCity are in an outstanding ecological status; Thirdly, the ecological status of Donggang Cityand Suizhong County are good; Fourthly, the states of Dandong City, Pulandian City,Wafangdian City, Jinzhou District, Gaizhou City, Dawa County, Xingcheng City are allacceptable; Fifthly, Dalian City, Bayuquan District, Panshan County are in a critical unstablestate; Then, Yingkou City, Panjin City, Linghai City are insecurity zones；Lastly, HuludaoCity and Jinzhou City are in an extremely unsafe state. According to the data form2001to2010, eco-security level increased at the beginning but declined after2008in some zones,such as, Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Jinzhou City and Huludao City. In order to improvetheir state, these areas should be given more attention. On the contrary, the ecological securitystatus of other zones are all grow obviously．During the ten years, the whole evolution of theeco-security situation in Liaoning coastal areas is good. The ecological security status of mostcounties are changed from the criticality safety into safer status, but it is still not stable. Andthere is still a large distance from current situation to a high-quality security status. So it isnecessary to continue to protect the environment vigorously and carry out some ecologicalconstructions actively.At last, in order to speed up a new Liaoning construction for wealthy, civilization andhappiness, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions so as to provide a certain scientific basis and some decision-making references for environmental planning andecological construction in some coastal counties.
