Plastic microtubules are widely used in medical and industrial fields. Micro tubing extrusion, in especial multi-lumen microtubules with high precision, high technical requirements, and the die is difficult to design, etc. Die runner structure design and section size accuracy control of multi-lumen microtubules has been the difficulties and focus of the micro tube extrusion. At present, the microtubule production level is significantly low compared with developed countries, basic research is less and there are some gaps to engineering application in our country. Therefore, this topic put emphasis on improve the quality of microtubules by analysis the extrusion flow, predict deformation of micro tubing extrusion, and study the die design theory.The polymer micro tubing extrusion has been studied in this paper, and established a numerical model that is able to describe microtubule extrusion rheological properties of polymer. By numerical simulation of microtubule extrusion and molding process with Polyflow soft, it has searched polymer melt viscoelastic effect, analysis extrusion processing pressure, flow rate variable distribution and extrusion deformation law, provide theoretical basis for dual-lumen microtubules extrusion deformation prediction of flow simulation and the die runner structure optimization.To dual-lumen microtubules extrusion as the research object, has carried on the dual-lumen microtubules extrusion flow of three-dimensional simulation study; According to simulation results, the dual-lumen microtubules extrusion die runner structure has been optimization design, optimization of the rib and the section of the flow channels structure, finally design and manufacture the die of dual-lumen microtubules extrusion.Finally, by manufacture of dual-lumen microtubules extrusion die and carried extrusion experiment with polypropylene (PP), extrusion has good uniformity and the dual-lumen microtubules with regular cross-section shape, shows the correctness of micro tube extrusion flow numerical simulation and the rationally design of the die.
