Water resource is one of the most important indispensible materials on the earth, which is closely related with natural environment and human development. It is every mine plant’s duty to realize mineral processing waste water utilization with maximum efficiency at water shortage condition nowadays. This thesis, in order to erase the adverse influence of sulfide ore flotation using oxide ore flotation waste water, targets on mixed zinc sulfide-oxide ore tailing water to study the component and characters of the water and its influence on sulfide zinc-lead ore, which reveals the principle and mechanism of components and sulfide minerals’interaction. Air-flotation method is adopted to treat with waste water based on the research above and recycling is tested. The main research contents are as follows:ICP test and microflotation experiments are adopted to investigate component and character of tailing water, which can be divided into three groups according to its influence on sulfide mineral flotation:components that has little influence is Na+、K+、Ca2+、Mg2+、AlO2-and SO42-. Components that benefit microflotation, include Cu2+、Pb2+and oleate sodium. Components such as Zn2+、Fe2+and sodium hexametaphosphate, have depression effect on microflotation.Real ore flotation, pH comparison and artificial mixed mineral flotation are conducted to investigate the influence of inorganic components on real ore flotation. The outcome believes that these components have no adverse influence on sulfide ore flotation during the flotation. The mechanism of interaction between oleate sodium and zinc sulfide ore is studied through TOC analysis, infra-red spectroscopy, entrainment evacuation and real ore flotation, which indicates that oleate sodium absorb onto sphalerite and gangue minerals’surface without selectivity, which leads to gangue minerals’entrainment and hydrophobicity, thus indexes become worse. Through flotation time, ICP test and real ore flotation, waste water treatment and recycling viability is researched. The research results declare that air-flotation method can effectively eliminate oleate sodium in waste water. Zinc concentration recovery rises from34.26%to45.14%, and grade from16.77%to23.03%when using the waste water treated with60min’s flotation, which can remove93.33%TOC component.
