Crystal glass products have easy processing, low prices, and transparent shiny features. With the improvement of people’s living standards, Crystal products became popular; Crystal has been widely used for practical arts as a pen rack, crystal lamp, pillow mat, necklace, ashtrays, vases, trophy, sculpture, crystal decoration materials, and act. Some international famous brands, such as Dior, channel, ELLE, Versace and so on also uses Swarovski crystal decoration, crystal products use from jewelry, ornaments, decorations to the fashion, mobile phones, watches and clocks, shoes and hats, architecture, interior decoration, etcBut the development history of crystal glass has only20years in our country, belongs to the emerging industry, although crystal glass industry in our country Develop very quickly, but there are large gaps compared with abroad. Technique and technology of the crystal glass processing in China lags far behind the European countries, such as France, Austria and Italy, These countries have hundreds of years of development. Gap is mainly embodied in the product design, production processing equipment and raw materials, etc.The crystal glass processing method is very primitive in china. The workers used simple tools, produce crystal products by manual operation. Depth and width size control is bad for slotted parts, the products has poor symmetry slot and visual effect, Product qualified rate is low, The research and development based on digital control of new crystal glass grooving technology and equipment is necessary.This study developed a crystal glass grooving device based on traditional crystal; the equipment can process all kinds of crystal products by mechanical processing method, and use the numerical control device for precision control of the direction of the three dimensions, through the program control machine tool processing, semi-automatic processing was realized. Specific content is as follows:(1)To study the crystal glass grooving processing, find out the suitable processing technology parameters, and design cutting tool, jig and fixture;(2) To study the influence precision of key components in the mechanical structure, the ball screw system and design of the ball screw system and support bearing and to carry on the check;(3)To study the crystal glass grooving machine of numerical control technology, developed the CNC control system based on PLC, complete the design of the main shaft drive and three directions (X, Y, Z) based on CNC. The whole machine constitute by column, base, spindle, tool rod, beam, workbench, lifting platform, numerical control system, electrical system, etc. The machine commissioning, and acceptance parameters and acceptance method is presented.This project research method can replace the traditional manual processing, carry on the processing with higher efficiency and higher quality in groove of crystal glass, can be able to effectively manage product processing quality, gradually improve the level of processing means and technology management. Through the use of the equipment in the crystal glass products industry, can be processed with qualified products, greatly improve the processing efficiency and product quality. Further research is needed for drilling, chamfering, processing forming surface processing operations, try to get more mechanization and automation processes, reduce scrap, reduce the labor intensity of workers, and is helpful for quality control and management...
