Cyclodextrin and Calixarenes which act as two typical host molecules have got tremendous achievements in the theories and applications of supramolecular chemistry fields. Compared with conventional β-Cyclodextrin(β-CD), y-CD has larger cavity, so larger size of the guest molecules can be included. In order to improve the poor solubility of Calixarenes, sulfonic group was introduced to Calixarenes, and then got p-Sulfonatocalix[4]arene (C[4]A-SO3Na) with good solubility, which can be used as inclusion of organic compounds. In this paper, inclusion properties of y-CD、 C[4]A-SO3Na and Calix[4]arene-β-cyclodextrin were shown as follow.1.γ-CD-Sophretin, y-CD-Mandelic and y-CD-Chenodeoxychdic acid were successfully synthesized by liquid-liquid method, the structures of inclusion complexes were characterized by infrared spectrography (IR), and hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR). Results showed that the molar ratio of inclusion complexes (CD: host) were1:1,2:3and1:1, respectively. The study of phase solubility showed that y-CD could increase the water-solubility of Sophretin sharply,0.133g/100g (25℃) and0.241g/100g (35℃). Specific rotation showed that y-CD have no enantioselective on mandelic acid. Crude Chenodeoxychdic acid can be purified by forming y-CD-Chenodeoxychdic acid, which was confirmed by HPLC.2. y-CD-methyl red inclusion complex was studied by UV-Vis spectro, the results showed that the molar ratio was1:1, inclusion constant of γ-CD was593L-mol-1at25℃. The existence of Cu2+, Ba2+, Ni2+, Cd2+and Mn2+have no significant effect on inclusion complex, but Zn2+can enhanced the absorption strength, result showed that from410nm to519nm.3. C[4]A-SO3Na-BF and C[4]A-SO3Na-RB inclusion complexes were studied by UV-Vis spectro, the results showed that the molar ratios were both1:1; the inclusion constants were1.42×103L·mol-1and1.2×103L·mol-1at25℃respectively. The existence of Zn2+, Cu2+, Mn2+, Cd2+, Ag+, Cl-and SO42-have no significant effect on both two inclusion complexes, but HPO42-only affected C[4]A-SO3Na-RB, the result showed that the absorption strength was enhanced. After BF was included by C[4]A-SO3Na, it’s sensitivity of pH was reduced in the range of pH5-8. 4.β-cyclodextrin-Calix[4]arene derivative was synthesized. Using the synthesized compound as an adsorbent, the effects of adsorption conditions including initial mass concentration, pH and temperature on adsorption capacities to basic fuchsin were investigated. At25℃in range of pH4-11, the maximum adsorption capacity value appeared at pH8;and in range of15-25℃, the adsorption capacity decreased with the increasing of initial mass concentration, and then maintained almost constant when over30℃. The adsorption equilibrium data in aqueous solutions were well represented by the Langmuir isotherm model at15℃and25℃.
