In recent years, along with the computer, digital camera and otherequipment, the ink-jet printing technology is more and more popular by the vastnumber of users. Ink-jet printing technology refers to family, commercial office, medical and other fields, has the broad prospects for development. As one of theink-jet printing consumables, ink-jet printing paper becomes the hot spot ofscholars’ research. And the performance of ink-receivable layer determines thequality of printing image directly. The ink-receivable layer (IRL), which uses silica as pigment, has goodabsorbency and scratch resistance etc. But nano-silica is easy to influence, whichwill affect the performance of the ink-receivable layer. Based on the abovedescription, in this paper, product SiO2@Al13core-shell structure compositematerial, and it can not only keep the original performance of SiO2, but alsoincrease its dispersity to preparation ink-receivable layer materials with goodperformance; At the same time, performance of the core-shell structurecomposite material were characterized, and analyzes the performance of ink-receivable layer.First of all, in this paper, the purification of Al13from PAC is made by themethod of Ba2+/SO42-, analyze the distribution of aluminum form through Al13-Ferron complexing colorimetric method, study the effect of alkaline degree foraluminum form distribution, and calculate the content. The experimental resultsshow that: when B<2.5, the content of Al13b increases with content with rising ofalkalization degree; B>2.5, the content of Al13b reduces with content with risingof alkalization degree, control alkalization degree at about2.5, content of Al13b purified is93.7%;Prepare SiO2@Al13core-shell structure composite materials, analyzes thetest results of SEM, XRD, XPS, FI-IR, Zeta potential, et al, determine the core-shell structure of the composite, in the coating process, there is not new chemicalbonds, shell and nuclear materials shall keep the original structure and properties, acting force of coating mainly is electrostatic adsorption force; Discussed theinfluence of the rate of Al13/Si on the cladding process: Al13coated quantityincrease with the increase of the Al13/Si ratio, but when Al13/Si>1:1, coatedquantity increase is not obvious. In the paint viscosity, the suction inking of coating, water resistance, gloss, smoothness, color and density, etc, test and characterize the ink-receivable layermaterial, the ink-receivable layer was prepared from clad material is good atuniformity of the coating, ink absorbency and water resistance, compare theperformance of different ink absorption materials was made from differentpigments, which from composite material is better obviously on absorbency thanthat of ink-receivable layer of untreated silica preparation, and is similar to theink-receivable layer preparation by modified silica, is slightly higher than themodified ink-receivable layer on partial performance.
