Therefore, the wastewater treatment plant faced with the improvement of facilities problems.This article based on the case of a sewage treatment plant in kunming, on-the-spot investigation and analysis about the present situation of the equipment operation, from two aspects of sewage treatment equipment update problems are studied.Firstly, we from the equipment update timing, on the basis of equipment update timing theory research, to the question of whether or not to update, when to update, established involving equipment investment cost and maintenance cost, annual operation cost and failure caused by suspended load a variety of factors such as cost and salvage value, general motors, the mathematical model of solving the problem for selection of the optimal timing of update. And take the aeration equipment as example, finally we geted that the reasonable update fixed number of year is6.Secondly is the choice of equipment update scheme, we abandoned the traditional technical and economic evaluation method, put forward a suitable for urban wastewater treatment equipment more optimal scheme evaluation methods, the grey comprehensive evaluation method based on analytic hierarchy process (is a kind of foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, the combination of the two evaluation methods for) scheme optimization.
