With the development of aerospace engineering and atomic energy, theperformance requirement is increasingly to component. Thereby, superalloy getuniversal apply. But, the processing of the superalloy, which is a kind of difficult-to-machine materials, don’t achieve requirements of machining accuracy, aserious impact on the performance of parts. So, research the incidence ofdifference cutting parameter in cutting process is crying needs. At present, theresearch of superalloy is less relatively. This article analysis the theoretical inturning superalloy, by meas of DEFORM-2D simulation and experimentation,conclusion effect to the forms of serrated chip, cutting temperature and force indifferent cutting parameters. This article is significant to research how toimprove the processing quality and efficiency.Firstly, this paper researches the performance of superalloy, selects thereasonable tool and research the performance of the tool. It also set up the cuttingmodel in order to analyze, concludes the formula of the cutting force and speedin cutting process and researches the influence of them on cutting force andtemperature. This article provides the fundamental basis for the prospective study.Secondly, it also studies on the cause of adiabatic shear in cutting processand analyzes the reason for formation mechanism of serrated chip. Simulate thecutting process of superally by DEFORM-2D, analyze the forming process ofserrated chip, characteristics of distribution on the chip and the influence on chipform of different cutting parameter is also a part of this paper. Through theexperimental study, microexamination the form of chip is also completed.Thirdly, analyze the simulation result of the cutting process of superally and the cutting temperature and force of different cutting parameters, drawing up thegraphs of the changes though origin is completed. On the basis of theoreticalresearch, summarizing the influence reason on cutting temperature and force ofdifferent cutting parameter is summarized.Finally, this paper analysis the cutting force and temperature of differentparameter through experimental study, it also makes a comparison between theresult of simulation and experimental, concludes the influence of cuttingparameter on cutting process.
