Parallel roller straightener is often used as the last link in the steel production process, the precision of the roll-gap for the position control system plays a decisive role in the appearance and quality of finished steel plate. However, there are still many domestic enterprises to adopt a mechanical pressure straightener, the application of high-precision straightener with hydraulic position servo-control is not widespread. The research of the hydraulic position control of straightener has great significance.In this paper, it linked with a nine-roller steel plate straightener. firstly, according the working principle of the straightener works and the drawings and technical parameters, using three-dimensional design software Solidworks to building the modeling of the straightener as1:1size, part of the structure has been simplified modeling process.According the created three-dimensional model to improve the structure of the straightener. Design improvement program, and calculate the reduction, the maximum straightening force, and other key parameters. Then, using ANSYS software to analysis the improved program, continuously optimize the results of the analysis program, and that get the best improvement effect.And then design a suitable cylinders and hydraulic schematic and select the appropriate hydraulic components. Followly, a transfer function modeling and simulation analysis is made in Simulink on the basis of mathematical model for the hydraulic position closed loop control system of straightener, and discuss the difference of the asymmetric cylinder dynamic characteristics. And, a nonlinear modeling method has been put forward to compare the differences among the two modeling methods.Finally, modeling and simulation is made by the advanced hydraulic simulation software DSHplus. Also proved the correctness of the nonlinear modeling method and compared with the two methods.The results show that the improve program meet the necessary requirements, analysis results have a certain reference value. While, according the analysis, nonlinear modeling method is more accurate.
