Blast blower is an important equipment in iron-smelting production, it’s running situation has an important effect on high efficiency and stability of the blast furnace. In the practical industry, higher moisture content in blast blower will result in some disadvantages with respect to lower combustion temperature of former tuyere, higher heat consumption, unstable furnace temperature and bad operation, affecting the output of the blast furnace.The waste heat of low-quality takes up about30%in the whole resources in modern iron and steel enterprise, while the utilization rate was less than10%. Absorption refrigeration is considered to be an important way to recover and utilize waste heat of low-quality as the form of refrigeration system of driving heat source.In this paper, we effectively combine dehumidifying technology of blast-furnace with absorption refrigeration, using a large number of cooling flue gas from the circular cooler of low grade sintering as the driving heat source of absorption chiller. This method was cooling the air in heat exchanger through condensing, making the air temperature below the dew point, detaching the saturated water. The decline of moisture content in blast furnace has an important influence on BF,such as reducing the coke, increasing the pulverized coal injection rate, improving the temperature of charging wind and reducing the power of air blower.First, determined that the low-quality waste heat suitable for the absorption refrigeration by energy level analysis method based on thermodynamic theory, And plot the schematic diagram of the absorption refrigeration and the flow diagram about condensing and dehumidifying; Second, provided theory support for the improvement of the refrigeration unit, through the exergy analysis method by determining the low temperature of flue gas for chiller of direct drive LiBr absorption; Again, calculated the dehumidifying for the whole blast furnace group and carried out. the thermodynamic analysis of waste heat generator, dehumidifying device, cooling tower, according to the amount of theoretical flue gas for a blast furnace; finally, maked the expected result for dehumidifying Technology of BF.
