Coal and gas outburst is a serious of mine dynamic disasters. Scholars at home and abroad study on the mechanism of coal and gas outburst process and did a lot of research, but still can’t meet the demand for coal and gas outburst predict. Especially in recent years, with the increase of coal mining intensity and depth, coal and gas outburst problem become more serious. In this paper, the author integrated application of laboratory experiment, field test, theory analysis and so on the many kinds of method to study the effect the characteristics of the main controlling factors of coal and gas outburst, and the main control factors work together to the coal and gas outburst danger. The author explores the coal and gas outburst prediction of quantitative analysis, to predict different location risk size. To develop coal and gas outburst prevention provide a good basis.First based on the theory of gas in coal seam occurrence and flow, the author did different properties of coal adsorption experiment, and got the different nature of the coal to gas adsorption curve and expression. These results provide certain reference for prediction of coal and gas outburst.All mine which contains new mines and expansion of mine or the mine exploitation to a new level need to carry on the mine gas level for approval. According to the size of measurement of mine gas emission, we can determine the mine gas level. If it is gas mine and if there is no clear motive phenomenon, we must carries on the appraisal of coal and gas outburst. Identification of coal and gas outburst in the method are many, but the most commonly used method is the single index method and comprehensive index method. In the single index method the most significant indicator is gas pressure indicator. With Gao Jiazhuang coal mine as an example, the grouting hole sealing method had carried on the determination of gas pressure on site. The author in the gas pressure determination solved a lot of on-site technical difficult problem, and got a lot of valuable experience.Through the analysis of the catastrophe theory of coal and gas outburst, the selection of coal seam gas pressure, gas content of coal seam, the gas radiation initial velocity index, Mining depth of coal seam, Geological structure factor, The soft layer thickness of the coal, the destruction of the coal type and the firmness coefficient of coal8indicators are put as the main controlling factors influencing the master. According to the mutation progression method, established a quantitative evaluation method of outburst danger classification. The author to mine as an example the area highlighted Gao Jiazhuang danger degree evaluation. According to different locations we can take different measures to prevent coal and gas outburst.
