In the process of workpiece machining, CNC machine tools need to collect timely the sensors working status and environmental information in order to monitor the working status of the machine. Most existing CNC system using traditional wired sensor network, various sensor by cable coprocessor (aggregation nodes) connected. But in the structures of traditional monitoring network in the process of winding the cable laying machine bed is very troublesome. Meanwhile, the vibration of the machine and the mechanical axis of rotation may cause the communication cable to break off or even, and there is digital signal attenuation. These shortcomings of the traditional things greatly reduce the reliability and practicality. With the development of wireless network technology, the emergence of wireless sensor networks to solve the traditional sensor networks, many problems, so widely used in industrial monitoring fields. In response to these needs and prospects for the development of networking technology, we designed and implemented a machine monitoring system based on internet of things.Design of CNC machine tools IOT system in this thesis for the detection of a single object; use a star network as the network topology. System consists of CNC operating platform, aggregation nodes and wireless collection nodes. Things CNC platform responsible for human-computer interaction system, the operator can operate the platform through the interactive interface and control of real-time monitoring of data collection nodes. In this paper, a systematic collection node hardware design, hardware design aggregation nodes, wireless collection node driven design, aggregation node-driven design, and the communication protocol design.Finally set up a test environment and the system has been tested and analyzed in detail. The test results showed that:this research tool monitoring system of things to play the advantages of wireless sensor networks, can be quickly and reliably as CNC machine tools to provide environmental monitoring and fault warning sensor information.
