The Heavy Plate of Baosteel is used in wide plate normalizing and tempering for the processing of steel grade carbon steel, low alloy steel and alloy structural steel. Thermal processing board are steel sheets and plates for ship-building, structural steel plate,boiler plate, steel containers,engineering machinery plate,mold plate,etc.The No.l heat treatment line of the Heavy Plate in Baosteel put into operation in2005March, mainly consists of two main equipments,which are a set of roller hearth heat treatment furnace designed by LOI company in Germany and a set of cooling bed designed by Siemens company in Germany.The bed area operation is relatively simple.As the medium and heavy plate plant capacity expansion needs, the No.2and No.3new heat treatment line in Heavy Plate started in2005October, which2006September and November have put into use.The new heat treatment line includes two sets of roller hearth heat treatment furnace designed by LOI company in Germany and four sets of cooling bed designed by CERI which are used for wide plate normalizing and tempering and cooling.After the new heat treatment line put into production,the area of heat treatment consists of three sets of heat treatment furnaces and five cooling beds.The logistics between these cooling beds interlaced and interrelated each other.Through this project,decomposing and optimizing for steel plates on bed area path control,and realizing automatic control for the whole area,as well as optimizing the functions of steel path setting and temperature calculation on the level2information system. Through these series of work,speeding up the speed of logistics of cooling bed area, improving its operation efficiency,as well as convenienting operation of staff,and all these creating conditions for improving the area of heat treatment production.
