The Research On Application Of Lace Element In Modern Men’s Fashion Design

Menswear design as an important part of modern fashion design, has a unique value and variablecharacteristics. As people’s spiritual needs gradually beyond the material needs, old-fashioned andstrict traditional men fashion has been unable to meet the needs of consumers, their demands forpersonality fashion become more and more strong. Lace in modern menswear design conforms to thepopular trend of this kind of personalized, can satisfy the demands of modern men, and find abreakthrough to break the boring traditional menswear for modern men’s fashion design. In thisbackground, this paper comprehensively research for the application of lace elements in menswear.This paper adopt the method of analysis comparison, illustration argumentation and combiningtheoretical research and practical demonstration. On the basis of reference for a lot of relevant theoriesand methods form western costume, men’ clothing design, etc, lace element and its application in themen’ clothing has carried on the detailed and comprehensive analysis and research. Firstly, this paperintroduces the origin of the lace and the development of lace technology, and analyzes and summarizesthe application of lace element in the early male dress. Secondly, this paper expounds the value ofapplication of lace elements in modern men’ fashion design, and focuses on researching the techniqueand manifestation of application of lace elements in modern menswear design. Then, explore theinfluence factors of the application of lace elements in the modern men’ clothing design with the angleof aesthetic, and summarize the problems existing in the application process and proposes thecorresponding solution. Finally, based on the theory research of this paper, the lace element is applied tothe practical men clothing, at the same time, map the menswear rendering, and then make the garment.Lace element is re-excavated deeply from a new angle, and it gets rid of the constraint of the fixedpattern, and explores more possibilities about the combination of lace elements with modern dress, sothat make it a better integration with modern costume culture, and coruscate the new brilliance in thefield of men’ clothing. The innovative research ideas of menswear design, provide a reference for thesuccessful application of the more feminine elements in the men ’ fashion design.
