Wood Plastic Composites is made of plastic and plant fiber as themain raw material of an excellent performance, inexpensive composites.It could be widely used in construction, automotive, packaging, transportindustries, alleviate the current wood shortage problem. However, Woodplastic composites in the molding process require greater pressure, Woodplastic composites density is about three times than the wood. Addfoaming agent in the wood plastic composites formulation, it can bemade with uniform bubble hole composites, both reduce the density,reduce the cost and passivate the crack tip, improve the mechanicalproperty of composites.In this study, the PVC as the matrix resin, bamboo flour as fillermaterial, again complementary with plasticizer, coupling agent, foamingagent etc processing aid prepared PVC/bamboo flour foamed composites.Research recipe ingredient (bamboo flour content, plasticizer content,impact modifier content, coupling agent type, foaming agent type etc) onthe effect of rheological properties and mechanical properties of foamedcomposites and processing technic (feed speed, the host speed,processing temperature)on the effect of foamed composites. Test thermalperformance of foam composite used differential scanning calorimetryand thermo gravimetric analyzer. Analyze the microstructure of foamcomposite by scanning electron microscope.The results show that:(1) The melt viscosity of PVC/bamboo flourfoam composite relate with shear rate and temperature.(2)The PVCthermal processing must add the thermal stabilizer, when thermalstabilizer content is6%, the best results.(3)The proportional relation ofthe internal lubricants and external lubricants used in PVC/bamboo flourfoam composite is6:5.(4)The glass transition temperature of PVC/bamboo flour foam composite is86.04℃, melting point is178.01℃.(5)from experiment to get the best parameters: feed rate is60r/min,the host speed is120r/min, processing temperature is170℃.(6) Bambooflour add into the polyvinyl chloride matrix that it can improve the mechanical properties, when bamboo flour content reached20%, themechanical properties of the foam composite reached its maximumvalue.(7) Increased with the content of plasticizer, the impact strength ofthe composite increased.(8)When impact modifier content is4.5%, thebend strength obtained maximum value.(9)The effects of Amino silanecoupling agent and Combination of foaming agent on the composite isgood, the function of composite material mechanics performanceoutstanding.The research results have important guiding significance on theformulation optimization、production and application of the PVC/plantfiber foamed composites.
