Beautiful sleeves fit one of the key positions in a coat design, whether in the system boardor the production process, and its requirements are more stringent. At present, the domesticsleeve type, the design of the model and the analysis mostly concern young adults’ stagesposture features, fewer studies for the elderly population, and also the lack of a completesystem on the middle-aged clothing structural design theory. In fact, the middle-agedwomen,who have been in the experience of a series of physiological processes and becauseto have done more household chores,are always accompanied by changes in factors such asage, physical changes, particularly in the chest, back, waist and abdomen, and the roots of thearms which makes clothing style and even the sleeve-type design, so far, still not a completeset of relevant theories of the middle-aged clothing study this problem, so my thesis study isthe questions of the middle-aged clothing sleeves. According to ergonomics,to maximize thesatisfactions of the middle-aged women in the comfort and aesthetic issues, so that to giveimpetus to the overall structure of middle-aged clothing design. In the beginning of the paper,I have carried out targeted research, collected relevant data, and collated the data. In theresearch, data collection is according to anthropometry standards to ensure the accuracy ofthe data. The objects of the measure mainly concentrated in Liaoning Province, and on thisbases I use Matlab and Excel software to analyse the data,particularly the frequently use ofMatlab in setting up mathematical model.At first,we can get the charts of the continuousdistribution density mathematics functions, comparing with the state.Garments Standard, tostudy the differents between the sizes of the middle-aged women and the sizes of the youngpeople. The results showed that there are greet differents between the middle-aged womenand the young women in the waist, abdomen, crotch and body thickness as well as the shapeof the spine.Following this explores,we try to re-classify and classify based standard, what’smore,try to give the recommendations of the middle-aged women clothing size standards.Through the above computing and mathematical modeling,we can accurately depict themiddle-aged women in the age group (45-65years old) shape features, size of the group andobtain the characteristics and distributions. Then, we use Matlab to get regression equations of the data of the chest and the data of chest width, what’s more, the data of chest and the dataof the back width.Through such studies, the conclusions of the relationships between thearms and the sleeves, between the sleeve arc and the armhole curve will be more inclined toquantitative research, so that we gain an effective model for the clothing digital technology tofacilitate the development of broader application prospects.
