| Ionic liquids have been synthesized in sealed pot for the first time. A dramatic reduction ofthe reaction time of3h has been accompanied with high yield of the production, since thereaction temperature could be increased over100℃.The acidity of the ionic liquid have beenstudied by FT-IR with pyridine probe. The synthesized Ionic liquids have been used in direct hydroxylation of benzene to phenolwith H2O2as oxidant, while the vanadium substituted HPAs was the catalysts. Differentammonias have been studied in the reaction system, and [(CH3)4N]4PMo11VO40was the bestcatalyst. The reaction has been carried out in different conditions. The catalyst could be totallyrecovered, and phenol could be separated from the reaction system through extracting byethyl ether. |
