Presently, the development of new energy is difficult to meet the demand of the national normal life, and coal is still one of the important resources. But coal mining will cause earth surface complex mobile and deformation that cannot be ignored to people’s life, so it is necessary to study on the regular of ground movement and deformation. The increasing shortage of coal resources makes people pay more attention to repeated mining researches. So, this article aims at the characteristics of repeated mining under thick loose bed in Gu Qiao coal mine, four working faces of the Guqiao Coal Mine have been divided into two groups, namely, the vertical and horizontal repeated mining. Firstly, it analyses the regularity of repeated mining of each group separately, and then so does the two groups. It is convenient to analyse the problems, this paper combines with the measured data and related software and draws five kinds of curves of surface movement and deformation, it shows the dynamic variation rule of surface movement more fully and intuitively; then based on pattern search method, it uses VC++and Matlab platform to programme the software that used to solve parameters and prediction of surface movement and deformation, it has determined the ground movement and deformation’s basic parameters of initial and repeated mining, by comparing the expected results and the measured parameters, it fully analyses the regular of surface movement and deformation of repeated mining under the thick loose layer. In this paper, two groups of thick loose layer’s repeated mining have been analysed and compared, we have obtained the rule of movement and deformation, it will have certain help to the coal production under similar conditions.
