The paper with the using of theoretical analysis, experiment analysis, numerical calculation and field measurement method of combining, based roduction geological conditions of1312(1) face in Gubei Coal mine, reach the overburden strata movement and behavior of rock pressure in the stope of thick unconsolidated layers thin bedrock. The theory of elastic mechanics and the key layer theory is derived based on the mechanical model of overburden strata movement, and calculate the coalface caused by rock strata broken length and the height of development. Use the physical simulation experiment of working face, pressure step, rock fracture development height, stope wall rock stress distribution and the overlying strata movement rule of quantitative analysis. The system of overlying strata in mining coal seam induced under thick alluvium and thin bedrock fracture characteristics, working face support pressure and overburden stress redistribution rule of overlying rock, migration, support load are studied. Through the in-depth analysis of the data obtained from the field, summarizes the features of actual loads and support of mine working face thick loose layer and thin bedrock under pressure, finally with the theoretical solution and numerical simulation results confirm each other, providing experience for similar engineering geological condition of hydraulic support selection and efficient coal mining safety.
