With rapid economic growth, China’s energy consumption is increasing. coal as the primary energy in China is also increasing year by year, due to the consumption increases of shallow coal seams, the mining depth of the coal industry as a whole is a steady increase in, several of China’s coal mining depth over1000m. For deep rock engineering, because of ground stress over uniaxial compressive strength of the rock, there will be zonal disintegrategration phenomenon that different from the shallow roadway for damage. As deep mining is the future trend of development, it is very important realistic significance to solve the deep mining of rock encountered zonal disintegrategration. In this paper, on the background of Huainan Dingji coalmine, the geomechanical model experiments and FLAC3D numerical simulation software to study the formation mechanism and failure characteristics of zonal disintegrategration, the main contents are as follows:(1)By introducing and analyzing a model experiment to analyze the actual situation of the scientific basis, Similar Three Laws and their relationships, finally through the derivation of similarity relation of geomechanics model test, the similar relationship that model test should meet is achieved;(2)Through processing and transformation test bench, the ratio between similar material selection to meet the requirements, selecting loading system that satisfy the requirements to simulate the actual situation of engineering rock mass, and use the total station and strain gauges on the roadway displacement and stress changes around monitoring and analysis;(3)After analysis of stress changes, the results of stress around roadway wavy change interval distribution of peaks and troughs and emergence surrounding rock stress in tension are achieved, these are important features of the zonal disintegration phenomenon, it’s feasible for using geomechanical model test to simulate the roadway for zonal disintegration phenomenon;(4)By numerical simulation software FLAC3D built-in strain hardening model recreate the zonal disintegration phenomenon, the thesis pointed out that the zonal disintegration phenomenon is related to model meshing, the initial geostress and coefficient of lateral pressure; (5)0n basis of analysis of elastoplastic stress field of surrounding rock of roadway, it is derived that support pressure zone under concentrated force in the smaller side under pressure have been rupture failure, which is the important reason for the zonal disintegrategration phenomenon.
