In this paper introduce the reverse osmosis demands to the water quality, analysis the saline substance deposit easily on the reverse osmosis membrane in order to control the fouling. And analysis some pretreatment methods now commonly used. Raw water pretreatment is very important, because it is connected with the superiority of reverse osmosis, designed productive capacity, and safe running for a long period of time. Raw water pretreatment strictly can reduce the pollution index, debase mineral substance and deposit of organic material, and decrease the danger of membrane pollution.The article confirms the reasonable pretreatment processing and reverse osmosis installation according the water demand of two new plant and the analysis index of raw water. The pretreatment system includes the raw sterilization system, the disk filter and ultra filtration system, the reducing agent and scale inhibitors system. All this is the guarantee of reverse osmosis system.The article mainly introduces the situation of reverse osmosis installation after put into production. The principle and application advantage of the reverse osmosis water treatment technology were expounded. Moreover, the research on the problems such as disk filter blocking, membrane pollution and countermeasures in industrialized production. After reforming and optimizing, add multi medium filter system before the disk filter, decrease the charge of disk filter, ensure the disk filter system safe working. By means of experiment we find the chemical cleaning procedure of reverse osmosis system. This way periodic inspection and cleaning, ensure the reverse osmosis system safe operation especially to the life span, and ensure the demands of desalted water for two new plants.
