Research On Sterilization Technology Of High Voltage Pulse Electric Field Under High Pressure Environment

With the development of society, there are more and more requirements on thefood for the people, not only the nutrition, but also the original flavor. Traditionalmethods,such as thermal sterilization sterilization has been unable to meet people’srequirements,the high voltage pulsed electric field sterilization technology,a new nonthermal sterilization, attracts more and more attention of scholars because of thecharacteristics of short sterilization time, less energy consumption and no damagingto the nutrients and flavor of food.So far, domestic and foreign studies is basicallycarried out under atmospheric pressure, and almost no one mentioned the impact ofliquid pressure on sterilization effect. However, there are many factors affecting thesterilization effect, the liquid pressure can not be ignored, and its effect onsterilization effect is worthy of study.We have proved that the pressure can promote liquid sterilization and make thesterilization effect better by studying the pressure effect on the microbial cells andliquid breakdown strength, Considering the impact of pressure, we design a set ofpressure system which makes the liquid be sterilized under high pressure liquid toimprove the original sterilization system. So we can set up the entire experimentalplatform to ensure that the entire system run smoothly.In the basis of the experimental system, we have done a lot of experiments onthe breakdown characteristics of the processing chamber,measured the impulsebreakdown voltage of distilled water and tap water respectively. The results showthat the breakdown voltage liquid has significantly increased when the liquidpressure is increased, which basically confirm the promoting effect of pressure on theliquid breakdown strength. So it provides a new thought for high voltage pulsedelectric field sterilization technology,Namely,under pressure, reduce the pressure of component requirements, reduce the cost.Aiming at some problems of system in the process of experiments, this paperputs forward some improvement on the original system to solve part of the system,so that it can make the sterilization effect better.
